Himba Woman from Namibia

For a long time I planned to draw a woman from Himba tribe (in Namibia). They have amazing hairstyle - dreadlocks stuck with natural red clay.
This picture is not finished yet.

Charcoal Eagle

This Eagle I have drawn more than year ago. It was my first time with drawing by charcoal and a little bit of dry white pastels. I tried to copy an eagle from the cover of ornitology magazine.
It would be less work to draw by white pastels on black background...

Easter in Bieszczady Mountains

Three years ago I spent Easter in Bieszczady Mountains, in South-Eastern edge of Poland. The mountains are relatively low, but very quiet and desolate. When you are off the season, you meet maybe few people a day on the trail. You can really feel alone, hearing for hours only your thoughts and the sounds of nature. Even in the middle of April, all the world is buried in snow and looks like from a fairytale.

This time was an inspiration for me to create some drawings. Some more, some less realistic. I saved only this one, which reminds me a little bit the pictures from Dixit game.

Never finished calendar with animals...

The calendar is not finished and will be never given, as I planned last year, for a Christmas gift for my friend Michelle :)
So I put here this "art"...

There was a May with a Fox but I lost it somewhere...

More of archive pictures

Year ago I left my highschool and decided to learn by myself. This one year of homeschooling gave me a lot of freedom and, the most important, time, which I could use for developing myself in art.
When I started to draw after a break, I realized, that even if I didn't practise for such a long time, I made a big progress. I was suprised, because my drawings were like not mine... (to be honest I am very proud of myself)
Some of them I have still, some were given as a present for someone's birthsday or for Christmas.

First I really liked to use oil pastels. This Tucan is drawn from few pictures from ornitology atlas.

I'm not good at acrylic, maybe is not a piece of art, but for some reason I like this picture. I must explain, what I wanted to draw, because some people (my mother) don't understand. The animal is a reindeer with big horns, and this waves had to be an aurora...
And this is painted by ink. Also with reindeer motive. I have only a photo with not finished picture. After, the reindeers got fur and a background.

Few old aquarelles with animals

I painted those pictures a year ago, when I was trying my hands at aquarells.

First painting depicts a mountain goat from the Stone Mountains in North America. It reminds me the Mountain Spirit...

The second picture is a Buffallo, also may be treated as a Forest Spirit from from Bialowieza National Park. It's the biggest hoofed animal in Poland (and in Europe as well).

Pictures of people from all the world

One day I had an idea to start to draw a serie of pictures with people from all the world (exotic countires). The most amazing for me are people from primitive tribes in Africa and Indians (descendents of Incas) from South America.
So I was travelling all around the world by Google Images :) and searching for inspirations. When I found someone really special with that "something deep" in his or her eyes, I drew a face from the picture, but the rest - clothes, headgear and background was from my imagination.
The first picture was "Woman from Gambia"
After that I drew woman with child from Quechua Tribe, it's not finished yet. I want to paint Machu Picchu in the background, or just Andes Mountains.

"Girl from Andas". I love the deep colours of their ponchos and dresses, but it's really difficult and take a lot of time to draw all this little lines and to make an impression of bending material. I'm not good at it yet. It's even easier to draw a realistic face.

That's the end of my serie for now, but later I want to complete by some more people. Now I want to concentrate on people from Africa. Soon you will see more...

Owl from the Camino

That Owl was taking care of me all the Camino. She used to call me when I was sleeping. Every time I was hearing her voice I knew I am on the right way, doing what I'm supposed to do.
In San Martino de Ozon, I decided to draw a picture of her and give it as a gift for the community which hosted me for one week in their beautiful raw stone house - XII-century monastery.
